Loving father of Michael (Laura) Smith, David ( Raquel) Smith, Sherie (Scott) Molitar and Ryan Smith. Cherished grandfather and great grandfather of many. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Memorial Visitation Monday October 7th from 3-8pm with a 7:00pm Funeral Service at the Palos Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Hwy Palos Hills. Interment private.

SPECIAL EVENT

In observance of National Suicide Prevention Month, the Chicago Police Department’s Professional Counseling Division/Employee Assistance Program (EAP) invites all department members, families, and supporters to join us for prayer vigils across our three EAP locations. These vigils will be a time to remember those we’ve lost to suicide and provide support to their families and loved ones. Led by our PCD/ EAP Chaplains, the vigils will offer reflection, remembrance, and hope. Officers, family members, friends, and supporters impacted by the loss of a loved one to suicide are especially encouraged to attend.
