Thomas "Buzzy" Eichler; U.S. Marine Corp Vietnam Veteran and Ret. Chicago Police Sergeant; beloved husband of Beverly (nee, Sokoloski); loving son of the late Tom and Mary Eichler; dear brother of Garnet (late Bill), Bill (Joanne), Dennis (retired CPD) (Pai), Karen (late Larry), Bob, the late Donald and the late David; fond brother-in-law of Shirley Murawski and Walter Sokoloski; also, cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Tom was a proud Marine, and he fiercely fought for his country in Vietnam. He was the recipient of a Bronze Star, Silver Star and Purple Heart. Tom retired from the Chicago Police Department as Sergeant with numerous commendations for his outstanding performance. He spent his retirement remodeling his house and with a hammer and a nail in his hand he was ready to assist with his expertise. Tom will be very missed by his family and friends. Visitation Friday, October 11, 2024, at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 8025 W. Golf Rd., Niles, from 3:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12th at the funeral home at 10:30 A.M. Following the service there will be a procession to St. Adalbert Cemetery for final prayers and interment. He was a proud Member of American Legion Post 974 Franklin Park and in lieu of flowers donations to his post are appreciated. For information 847-581-0536.

Margaret E. DelFavero (nee McDougall), age 80, passed away at home peacefully, September 26, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Thomas; Loving mother of Thomas and Marc (Laurie); Proud grandma of Dominic (Ashley), Devin, Ethan, Blake, Hunter, Bria, Vincent, Franchesca, and Lia; Dear sister of Karen Spingola; Cherished daughter of the late Malcolm and Clara (nee Sunstrom) McDougall; Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. Michael A. Nincevich passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 8, 2024 at the age of 72 after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma. Born on February 6,1952 in Chicago, Mike was a man of integrity, strength, and intelligence. Mike leaves behind his devoted wife, Kathleen and four loving children: Jillian (Matthew) Sturm, Joseph (Laura) Nincevich, Lora (Leo) Solana, and Nicholas (Maria) Nincevich. He was a cherished grandfather to Madison (George), Ethan, Caralin, Nathan, Mila, Joseph, Jr., Holly, Paul and Milena; Son of the late Anthony and Louise (nee: Hecker) Nincevich; Dear brother of the late James Hurley and Lisa (Martin) Rodriguez, and great friend to many. Mike dedicated many years of his life to the Chicago Fire Department, where he served with distinction as an engineer. His work was not just a job, but a calling that he fulfilled with passion and excellence. Beyond his professional life, Mike was a lover of music, an avid reader, and history buff who was always eager to share his knowledge and engage in thoughtful conversations. Mike's legacy is one of love, loyalty, and compassion for those who had the opportunity to know and love him. He will be deeply missed by all. His life was a testament to the strength of family bonds and close relationships with friends gained throughout his lifetime. October 12/13th Tactical Shoot at the Site in Mt Carroll, IL. This is a two-day class. Pistol will be taught by Robert Vogel and rifle will be taught by Pet Milionis.
