Need help on a documentary

My name is Dwayne Garron, I'm doing a documentary that traces today's youth violence in Chicago back to what I feel is the root of the problem that started in the late 80s, early 90s. I was wondering if you could put me in contact with any retired cops that was patrolling the streets then, saw first hand what was going on and are willing to share their stories.
