Annabelle G. Burch (nee Quirk) age 86 March 29, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Donald R. Burch (Ret. Sgt. CPD). Loving mother of Sharon, Donald Jr, Patricia Burch, and Eileen (the late Timothy) O’Connor. Dear grandmother of Jay, EJ (Jill), and Ryan. Great grandmother of Evelynn. Sister of Dolores (the late Eugene) Bednarski and the late Dr. Francis J. (Arlene) Quirk. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at St. Damian Church 5300 West 155th Street, Oak Forest on Thursday, April 21, for a Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM followed by interment at St. Mary Cemetery. Brian Cheevers, a retired Chicago detective, passed away from a stroke on Friday April 8, 2022 at 64 years old. Brian is survived by his wife Liz (née Sayre), children Courtney and Sean, mother Nancy, brother Barry, and beloved dog Frida. Brian was born and raised in Chicago and worked as a paramedic before joining the Chicago Police Department in 1989 where he worked as a decorated detective. Brian was a devoted father, avid hockey fan, animal lover, golfer, and fisherman. He hated funerals, but he's getting one on April 18th at 11 am at St. Mary's of the Woods. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Brian's name to the ASPCA.

Attached is our 2022 flyer to inform and encourage our fellow Chicago Police Retirees of the, "90th. Annual St. Jude Memorial March, " Sunday, 1 May 2022. (see included attachment ) As in the past, 'retirees' have again been given our own marching contingent slot up front in the number 7 marching position.

(Those experiencing difficulty in walking can assemble by the reviewing stand)
