SPECIAL NOTICE!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago (BGCC) is developing their first new Club to be built in a generation on the Joint Public Safety Training Campus, with plans to open in early-to-mid 2023. Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago provides a safe, supportive environment enhanced with mentorship, education and enrichment for Chicago youth aged 5-18 throughout the city, and primarily in neighborhoods that lack the resources they deserve. Throughout the organization’s 120- year history, an overwhelming number of success stories have emerged as BGCC supports our city’s youth year after year to achieve their utmost potential. As we continue to build a partnership with BGCC, we would like to identify CPD members who are also Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago alumni - that is, CPD members who were formerly BGCC members (Club kids) or members of any other Boys & Girls Club around the country. If you would like to work with the BGCC on a variety of partnership and mentorship opportunities for the incredible young people who will be served through this new Club, as well as for the kids served by all of the 20- plus Clubs already operating across Chicago, please email Academy@ chicagopolice.org.
