Andrew Baumann, 86, a retired lieutenant with the Chicago Police Department and avid golfer of Bloomingdale for over 30 years, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023. Beloved husband of over 65 years to Anne M. (nee Triptow); loving father of Diane (Jim) Kouretas, Barbara Baumann, and Christine (Peter) Vetrano; cherished grandfather of Andrea (Russell) Koper, and Nicholas and Stacie Kouretas; proud great grandfather of Charlotte, Abigail, and Jameson; dear brother of the late Joseph, William, Frank, and Samuel Baumann and the late Barbara Templeton; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet Monday, June 19 at St. Walter Catholic Church 130 W. Pine Ave., Roselle for Mass at 10:00am. Inurnment private at St. Michael the Archangel. Proud grandmother of Kelli, Kristin, Kevin, Colleen, Katie, Michael, Melissa, Megan, Molly, Michelle, Mark, Sean, Ryan, Marty and Shannon. Cherished great-grandmother of Aiden, Brianna, Clara, Colin, Trinity, Jude, Nash, Austyn, Kellan, Cameron, Isla, Dean and Emme.
