Robert K. Quirk, age 73, of Posen passed away August 5, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Susan Quirk for 50 years. Loving father of Joseph (Jamie) Quirk, Amy Quirk, Particia (Anthony Seals) Quirk, and the late Steven Quirk. Proud Papa of Joshua, Breanna, Gage, Alyssa, Declan, and the late Nathan; great-grandfather of Keelan. Dear Brother to Martin, Philip, and the late brothers, his twin Raymond (Sharon), Timothy (Laine), Gerry, David (Kelley) and brother-in-law to Dr. Sandra Wilson (late George), the late Thomas (late Maureen) Garber. Fond uncle, cousin, co-worker and friend to many. He enjoyed spoiling his grand pups, Bailey, Carley, Chase, and Tilly. Retired Deputy Chief from the Posen Police Department with over 40 years of service including time with the South Suburban Task Force and D.E.A. He wore many hats serving the Posen Community. A former EMT/Paramedic and served as Village Trustee and Commissioner. He was a baseball and basketball coach, and a loyal volunteer for multiple programs at St. Stans. Bob was a pillar in the community and will be missed by all. Visitation Thursday August 10. 2023 at Hickey Memorial Chapels 4201 W 147th Street Midlothian, Illinois from 2:00PM until time of funeral service at 7:00PM.
