Harold Kohn, 83, passed away at his home in Oak Park, Illinois on Sunday, March 17, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Charlaine Kohn, cherished father of Kathleen Kohn, Theresa Stewart, Samuel Kohn and Jeffrey Kohn, loved stepfather of Edward Robinson, Barry Sargent and Brian Sargent, dear uncle of Edith Goslawski, Max Kohn, Anna Garland and David Kohn, adoring grandfather of ten, great grandfather of fourteen. His career in law enforcement included service with the Chicago Police Department, Cook County Sheriff’s Office, East Chicago Heights and Robbins Police Departments. He owned Kohn Detective and Centennial Security agencies and was the license contractor of TRICOR Security Group. A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Woodlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 7750 W. Cermak Road, Forest Park.
