Roberta A. Lynch (nee Koster) Age 95. Beloved wife of the late John Warren Lynch (Det. CPD). Devoted mother of Frank (Karen) Lynch, late Tom Lynch, and Mary (Gerry) Kubik. Proud grandmother of John, Kenneth, Roberta, Andrew, and David. Adored great-grandmother of Riley and Henry. Cherished daughter of the late Frank and Mary Koster. Loving sister of the late Helen and the late Dorothy. Adored aunt of many nieces and nephews. Longtime banquet manager with Beverly Country Club, Oak Lawn Hilton, Old Barn and Gleneagles Country Club. Visitation Monday 3- 8 p.m. Funeral service Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL. Interment private. SPECIAL EVENT!

The St. Jude Memorial March will be held on Sunday, 05 MAY 2024.

The location for the 92nd Annual 2024 St. Jude March has changed to Michigan Ave. this year. Assembly starting at 0630 hrs. is on Michigan Ave., with the lead units beginning at Superior St., (732 North) with Units and Districts in numerical order, South to Pioneer Court. Step-off is 0800 hrs., initially N/B on Michigan Ave., one block to Chicago Ave. (800 North) then W/B on Chicago Ave. The line of march will proceed W/B on Chicago Ave. to Dearborn St. and disband North and South bound. The reviewing stand will be on the North side of Chicago Ave., east of Wabash Ave. At the conclusion of the march there will be a 15-minute Interfaith Service at the reviewing stand, followed by Mass being held at Holy Name Cathedral, 735 N. State St., at 1030 hrs.

CPD Retirees again have their own marching contingent slot, near the front of the march in the 7th marching unit position. Also, ‘non-ambulatory' retirees are invited to assemble at the reviewing stand according to the Special Events Notice.
