A MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT!

When we lose an officer in the line of duty, we promise to never forget. We make this promise in memory of our 601 fallen heroes and in honor of the Gold Star Families. We proudly carried on this commitment at the Saint Jude Memorial March this past Sunday. For the first time since 2006, we returned to Michigan Avenue to proudly march in recognition of our fallen. We were joined by your families and community members from across the city who showed up in support of you, just as you show up for the people of our city. Most importantly, we united to surround the Gold Star Families with love and support. They are forever part of our Chicago Police family.
