Dale R. Kasten, retired 27-year Firefighter/Paramedic Veteran of the Bridgeview Fire Department, age 76, passed away on May 11, 2024. Beloved husband of Susan Kasten, nee Kane. Loving dad of Kimberly Kasten and Kevin (Kelli) Kasten. Dear grandpa of Maxwell and dear grandpa Dale of Dawn, Faith, and Grace Nelson. Fond brother of Carl Paul (Nancy) Kasten. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation, Sunday, May 19, 2024, 3:00PM to 7:00PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois. Dearest sister of Peggy Lynn, Pauline Waldron, Kathleen Fleming and her other brothers and sisters that have preceded her in death, Michael McGrath, Mary Dalton, Martin McGrath, Paddy McGrath, Bernie McGrath, Sally Nelson, Tony McGrath, and Christy McGrath. All Certified Peer Support Members are welcome to attend a debriefing led by Assistant Director Kathy O’Neill and other clinical staff at the EAP building at 1759 W. Adams St. Tomorrow, 17 May 2024 from 1100-1300 hours. A Tableau Dashboard list of Active Peers can be accessed by navigating to the EAP Section of the Wire in the upper left corner, clicking the “Peer Support” tab, then scrolling down to “Peer Support Members”.
