Callahan Sr., age 80, of Chicago, IL passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, retired patrolman C.P.D. 40 years; beloved husband of Sharon nee Stokes; loving father of Gerald "Gerry" Jr. (Coleen) Callahan, Kathleen (Tim) Egan and the late Jim Callahan; cherished grandfather of Shannon (Guy) Di Balsamo, Erin Callahan, Samantha Egan and Anthony Callahan; fond brother of Brian Callahan, Kevin Callahan, John Callahan, Mary Archambeau, the late Cindy Callahan and the late Judy (Frank) Carey; dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.
