Alice Sydor, age 73, of Mokena, formerly of Bridgeport; loving wife of Pat retired CPD. Cherished mom of Tricia and Nick (Katie). Beloved nana of Taylor, Kyle and Amber. Dear sister of the late Tina (Kenny) Gonsowski. Fond aunt of Kevin, Keith and Christopher. Also, many loving relatives and friends. 6 Aug. 2024 IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN! As of this writing, the South Side Retired Detectives’ Reunion for 2024 is alive and well. This year’s date is Tuesday, 06 August 2024. We hope to see all of you on that day. Bourbon Street has been very accommodating in helping to plan this event and, as such, we are asking that if you plan to attend, please RSVP by Tuesday, 30 July 2024.

Please feel free to pass this information along to your retired CPD co-workers who may not be on our mailing list, especially for those who have retired in the past few years. We’d like to keep our list as up to date as possible. If they would like to be added to the mailing list, have them contact one of the above. Hope to see each and every one of you on Tuesday, 6 August 2024.

Last Wednesday of the month Windy City Coppers! Tampa Bay!

Calling all coppers. Please join the newly formed group Windy City Coppers located in the greater Tampa Bay Area. We meet for breakfast every last Wednesday of the month. We encourage any and all current or retired CPD to attend as we attempt to solve all the world’s problems one breakfast at a time. Roll call is 10am at Tiffany’s Family Restaurant located at 35000 US Highway 19 in Palm Harbor, Florida. This will include discounted general admission for the Chicago Street Race Cup Series event, NASCAR branded Challenge Coin, plus a Sunday concert access (Keith Urban and Lauren Alaina).
