Passed away 12 July 2024 JOSHUA HOPKINS, brother of Police Officer Asontawa Cleveland assigned to District 005.
SPECIAL EVENT!
The organizers of the Colombian Fest in coordination with the 017th Caps Office would like to thank First Responders in their hard work by offering free entry to The Colombian Fest July 19, 2024, from 3p-10p held at Northeastern University grounds 3701 W. Bryn Mawr. The Fest will have a Tribute to the Fallen Officers at 2000hrs with a moment of silence followed by The Bags and Pipes of the CPD Honor Guard. CPD Enforcers, Knights, Finest, Soccer Club and F.C. Soccer Club will be hosting a youth sports camp for the community from 12p-3pm at the Northeastern Sports Field located on Foster/Central Park along with the NFL Alumni members. The sports camp is open to all to come enjoy a day with CPD sports teams, water and snacks provided for kids of all ages. This is a family friendly event with kids’ activities, live music and great food. Members just need to show their ID at the box office window to receive their tickets for entry. Kids under 12 are free all weekend. The Fest is July 19 - 21 and members get a discount off regular admission price for July 20-21 entry at the box office. Hope to see as many members as possible for a night well deserved! See attachment to AMC # 309944.
