Roger M Sowinski retired CPD Obituary!

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger M Sowinski, former Chicago Police Officer, (Las Vegas, Nevada), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 30, 2024, at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roger M Sowinski to pay them a last tribute. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Roger find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024, at 12:00 PM at the Bunkers Mortuary Chapel (925 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89101). Joe was one of the Joseph Mullarky and Sons Distributor Inc., from Glenview, whose family donated many services and supplies, to many, many, neighborhood parties, religious social functions and Police and Fire fund raisers, retirement parties and other functions. R.I.P. Joe, and condolences to the entire Mullarkey Family.

Joseph P. Mullarkey age 63. At rest Thursday, August 1st . Beloved son of the late Joseph A. and Carol (nee Horn); dear brother of Kevin (Sharon), Colleen, Timothy (Denise), Terrence (Bridget) , Dennis, the late Maureen & the late Kathleen. Loving uncle to 11 nieces and nephews, Loving great uncle to 10 nieces and nephews. Joe had dear friends far and wide. He worked for many years at Moraine Valley Community College Library. Joe was a Partner and Board of Directors with Joseph Mullarkey Distributor, Inc. Visitation Tuesday, August 6th from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels (FRIEL FUNERAL DIRECTORS), 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Services Begin Wednesday 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to St. Paul of the Cross Church, Park Ridge.
