Daniel Joseph Mangan, 68, passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2024. Lifelong resident of Canaryville and faithful parishioner of St. Gabriel Church. Beloved son of the late George Mangan, (Retired CPD) and the late Alice Mangan (Special); loving companion of Maureen “Angel” McBride; devoted father of Jill Woods, Daniel Mangan Jr., and Patrick Mangan; cherished grandfather of Benjamin and Emma Woods; dearest brother of Debbie Mangan, Dolores (Dave) Gilmartin, George (Judy) Mangan, Jack (Mary Kay) Mangan, Mike (Michelle) Mangan, Pat (Lynn) Mangan, Jean (Mike) Bossard, Kevin (Carol) Mangan, and Ann (John) McBroom; also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, friends, and fond son-in-law Ben Woods, (CFD). Daniel was a member of IUOE Local 399, and an avid Chicago White Sox and Notre Dame fan. Daniel will always be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him. Visitation on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm at McInerney Central Chapel, located at 4635 S. Wallace St. Chicago, Il.
