John C. Bjorvik, 91, resident of Bartlett, Illinois passed away on August 23, 2024. Born and raised in Chicago, John was a member of the Chicago Fire Department where he served for over 30 years. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 58 for over 50 years. He also served his country during the Korean Conflict. John is survived by his children; son David A. (Kim) Bjorvik, daughter Ann Lisa Bjorvik; and sister-in-law Ruth Bjorvik. He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Lorraine; son Robert A. Bjorvik; and brothers Kjell and Roger. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 28, from 11:00am until time of service 1:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home 950 South Bartlett (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Interment private.
