September 22nd 0700 hours Sunday, Fox Valley Races, 31 Prairie St. Saint Charles, IL: Please come out to join us for a great race series along the Fox River starting and ending in St Charles. There is a Marathon, 20 miler, half marathon and 5k. We currently have 3 signed up for the half and 3 for the 5k. All radio zones will observe a 30 second period of radio silence on 16 September 24 at 1200 hours. This is in honor of Police Officer James M. O’Connor #4573, assigned to the 023rd District, who was shot and killed in the line-of-duty at 0255 hours on 16 September 1995 in the 023rd District. WE WILL NEVER FORGET!
