A Chicago Police Officer was shot and killed Monday night, 5 Nov at approx., 8:00 PM., in the area of 81St. and Ingleside. At approx., 10 PM WGN News stated that the officer died of injuries at a hospital. No further info at this time.

On Sunday 3 Nov at approx., 8PM a Chicago Firefighter was battling a fire in a three-story apartment building at 800 N. Hamlin when he fell through a skylight and fell three stories to the basement level. He was transported to a hospital in serious condition. No further info yet.

On Monday, 4 Nov at approx. 1030 hrs., an Illinois State trooper was struck by a vehicle while working on I-57 at approx. 107th st. in Chicago. The trooper is in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Please say a prayer for all of the officers and firefighters.
