Jerrold M. “Jerry” Lewis, Veteran U.S. Navy, Retired CPD Detective. Beloved husband of Elizabeth “Betty,” nee Watts, for 62 years. Dear father of Mary Jo (Ken) Noreikis and the late Ronald and the late Steven Lewis. Loving grandfather of Christopher (Amanda) and Daniel (Tori) Noreikis and great grandfather of Owen and Aiden Noreikis. Devoted son of the late Barney and Leda Lewis. Brother of Richard (the late Sue) and Dennis (Janet) Lewis and brother-in-law of Terry (Peggy Lee) Watts. Jerry was a volunteer recruiter of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland for 26 years. In 2014 the Dean of Admissions of the Naval Academy named Jerry the top Blue-Gold Officer in the Nation. In lieu of flowers memorials to Paws Assisting Veterans (paveusa.org), appreciated. Visitation Wednesday, April 30th 9:00 a.m. until time Prayers 10:30 a.m. at Beverly Ridge Funeral Home, 10415 S. Archer Ave. (55th street just west of Harlem).Visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 8:30 AM until time of Prayers at 9:30 AM. We will go in procession from the funeral home to St. Daniel the Prophet Church for a 10 AM Mass. Rosemarie will be entombed at Resurrection Cemetery, Community Mausoleum, Gallery of the Apostles.
