Keith R. Dumesic, 81 years old, of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., passed away Friday, October 24, 2025, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital. He was born December 15, 1943, in Kenosha, Wis., the son of the late Joseph and Viola (Tenuta) Dumesic. He attended local schools and graduated from St. Joseph High School. Keith went on to work for various companies to support his family before beginning a career in law enforcement. He was a police officer from 1967 to 1982 with the Kenosha Police Department; he then became a detective with the department, retiring in 1995. Keith enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, gambling, playing cards, and watching the Green Bay Packers. He was proud of his grandchildren and loved being a part of their lives. Survivors include his children, Keith S. Dumesic, Karene (William) Lewis, and Keven (Betty) Dumesic; three grandchildren, Karlie (Mitchell) Rowan, and Benjamin and Danny Lewis; his sister, Frances Karwatka; and his longtime lady friend, Carolyn Denure. In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his best friend, Frank Trecroci. Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Proko Funeral Home. A funeral service will commence at 2 p.m. Proko Funeral Home & Crematory 5111 60th Street Kenosha, WI 53144.

Jerry T. Haase, U.S. Army Veteran, Ret. C.F.D., age 90 ½ passed away October 31, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Madonna (nee McHugh); Loving father of Sheila (Michael) Scott; Proud grandfather of Liam and Katherine “Katie” Scott; Cherished brother of the late Lorraine Haase; Dear brother-in-law of Patricia (Alexander) Kapocius, Maureen (late John) DiMonte, Anne (late Harold) McGowan, and John (Lynn) McHugh; Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 9235 S. Hamilton, Chicago. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
