Barbara May Lemke passed away on May 25, 2026, in Surprise, Arizona. She was born on May 28, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois. Barbara loved spending time with her family and friends, who were most important to her. She was also a Cubs fan and enjoyed golf, traveling, and gardening.

Barbara is survived by her three daughters, Kristine Lemke of Surprise, Lisa Taylor (Ed) of Phoenix, and Sandy Vatalaro (Mark) of Tempe. She is also survived by her grandchildren, whom she loved very much: Lance, Patrick, and Christopher Taylor, and Anissa and David Vatalaro. She is also survived by her brothers, Mathias Casey (Susan), Daniel Casey (Chris), and Kevin Casey (Heidi) and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Lemke, and her brothers, John Casey and Tom Coyne.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services for Barbara will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, June 6, 2026 at the Christ Church of the Valley, 7007 W Happy Valley Rd, Bldg., 400, Peoria, AZ 85383

I just heard that Steve Goldman died. He hit a deer on his motorcycle in Wisconsin /Minnesota area and was killed. Nice guy and he loved driving that motorcycle. No further info.
