Casting police families for a new documentary series

I’m contacting you from the award winning television company October Films. We are one of the UK’s most respected and well established factual television production companies. We produce a wide range of programming, from factual entertainment shows to high-quality history, current affairs, factual drama and science programming, for a range of USA networks.

We are currently casting police families for an exciting new documentary series for a major respected US network. We are looking for All American multigenerational cop families. Law enforcement, along with medical and other emergency services, families are unique in that their jobs are more than careers, they are vocations. The family members can work across a mix of roles, including civilian, and could serve on different forces within the same area. Some members of the family might be retired from life on the beat. We’re particularly interested in cop families where one or more of the serving or retired members are female – sister, cousin, aunt, mother, grandmother or daughter-in-law. The most important things about these families are their pride and passion for their jobs and love and support for each other.

We are wondering if any of the staff or members of the Retired Chicago Police Association might be part of such a police dynasty or know someone who is please? If you could share our casting call with your members and staff, display the attached poster in communal areas, place it within internal or external e-bulletins and/or post our casting call graphic (attached) on your social media pages we’d really appreciate it. Of course it's totally at your discretion but it would be amazing if you were able to help.
