Dear Retired Chicago Police,
Thank you for taking the time to read this email.
We are writing to you today to ask for your help in getting the word out to your personnel regarding the World Police & Fire Games. We would appreciate it if you forward the information to your respected departments. We have been holding our games for 30 years now and would like your support in helping us spread the word to your fellow colleagues!
The World Police & Fire Games is an Olympic-style event open to men and women representing law enforcement, fire, prisons and border protection. Over 10,000 competitors are expected to compete in more than 60+ sports coming from 70+ countries across the world. This year the Games are scheduled for August 7 – 16, 2017 in Los Angeles, California.
The California Police Athletic Federation, a non-profit organization established in 1967, is the governing body for both the United States Police & Fire Championships and the World Police & Fire Games. Our mission is to promote sport and physical fitness among personnel representing law enforcement, fire, prisons, and border protection. Our Board of Directors is comprised of active duty or retired police officers. We also work with active duty or retired firefighters and law enforcement officers in the presentation of the Championships.
In addition, we have recently opened an Ambassador Program opportunity for any individuals who are signed up for the games and want to help promote them via social media. They are encouraged to share their excitement with friends and loved ones.
We would love to be able to count on your support. If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact me.
