EAP Hours of Operation and After-Hours Service!
Normal office hours for the Professional Counseling Division/ Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is Mon-Fri, 0900-1700 hours. This is inclusive of after-hours appointments. The EAP staff can be reached at 312-743-0378 or Pax 0578. After normal office hours, a contracted answering service will receive all calls coming into the EAP office from their bell number only. The answering service is not accessible from dialing EAP’s pax number. An on-call EAP clinician, Alcohol & Substance Abuse counselor and Peer Support member is always available 24/7. The answering service will notify the respective on-call EAP personnel of your request for a call back. If you are unable to reach the answering service or you have not received a return phone call in a timely manner from an on-call EAP personnel, department members are encouraged to contact CPIC at (312) 745-6300 or Pax 0100. CPIC will then contact the on-call EAP personnel directly.
