Additional information on death of retired CPD Officer Claude Posilovich:
Claude died on Friday, May 27th. He resided in Venice, Florida. No further information.

Anthony Alfieri, age 88, was a resident of Barrington, IL for 59 years. Anthony was the loving father of Anthony Jr., Peter (Joanne) and Jean Marie (Josh Barbee) Alfieri; cherished grandfather of Kyle and Collin; dear brother of Salvatore Jr. (Judy) and the late Joseph and the late Michael. Anthony was born October 14, 1933, in Chicago, to the late Salvatore and Angeline Alfieri and passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Cedar Lakes Assisted Living in Lake Zurich, IL. Anthony was a retired Police Lieutenant, from the CSX Railroad, after 40 years of faithful service. He was a member of the IHSA, being an umpire for over 25 years. Anthony was a United States Army Veteran. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 9:00 am to time of prayers at 11:00 am at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda, IL 60084, proceeding to Transfiguration Catholic Church, 348 W. Main St., Wauconda, IL 60084, for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at Transfiguration Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Barrington Area Council on Aging, 6000 Garlands Lane, Suite 100, Barrington, IL 60010, 847-381-5030.
