Under this program, participants complete a Consent to Release Data form for the CCSO and in return are provided a window decal (pictured below).

Officers should be aware of this CCSO “Tracked Vehicle” Program and, in the event they encounter a victim who is participating in the program, instruct them to contact the CCSO at 773-674-8868 or ccso.carjack@ccsheriff.org immediately.

Forwarded by retired CPD Tom Boyd:

Danny Trevino proudly served the Chicago Police Department for over 34 years and retired as a Detective. He worked in various patrol districts including 014, the Traffic Division, and as an instructor at the Education and Training Division where he had the honor of training and mentoring thousands of recruits. Danny was a Youth Investigator in Area 5 and Detective in Area 3, and retired out of Detective Headquarters. Danny is a member of St. Michael’s Knights of Columbus and the Retired Chicago Police Association. Protecting the union rights of active and retired officers has always been important to Danny. He was first actively involved as a union member for many years, then had the honor of serving as a unit representative. One of the greatest honors of his life was his fellow members electing him trustee which gives him the incredible privilege and responsibility of representing us all - a role he takes very seriously. He has had the opportunity of serving as a Lodge 7 Delegate at numerous Illinois State and National FOP Conventions. If elected trustee, Danny looks forward to eagerly serving the membership and advocating for all of us as a board member and as an enthusiastic organizer of rallies to fight for our rights.
