Janet Leahy, née Bengtson Age 77, Loving husband of Francis Leahy (retired C.F.D) and mother of Nora Leahy, John DeNapoli (Jenny Rodriguez) Dina DeNapoli (Jay Glotzer) Fond sister of Carolyn Traina (late Bob) Linda Soliz (John) Carl Bengtson (Susan) Martha Eldred (late Ron) Fond aunt to 9 nieces and nephews and Nana to Jake, Jordyn, Abby & Brody. Special friend of Michael Calabrese & Malek Taha. Janet was born in Evanston IL. E.T.H.S 64’ She spent summers watching sunrises at South BLVD beach and as a winter resident of Naples FL, she watched sunsets over the Gulf. She was extremely gifted in the teaching and care of special needs children, which she did for many years. She passed away listening to her beloved oldies music, surrounded by those she loved.
