Patricia A. Cihalski.jpg

Patricia A. Cihalski, age 76, of Joliet, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born December 15, 1946, in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Edna (Warburton) Connors. She married her beloved husband, Eugene F. Cihalski, and they enjoyed 43 years of marriage until his passing on August 30, 2008. Patricia was a loving, devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She was a hard worker, always giving, and doing whatever she could for others. She loved celebrating the holidays and her famous corned beef and cabbage will be missed by her entire family. She had many interests, but especially enjoyed gardening and tending to her flower beds, and watching Hallmark movies and mysteries, as well as Westerns. She also loved books and was an avid reader. Elvis lost one of his biggest fans with her passing. An overall wonderful woman, she cared deeply for her family, and no one will ever take her place. She is survived by her four children, Maria (Frank) Sepeda, Michael (Tricia) Cihalski, Rae Michelle (Gary) Cihalski, and Tricia (Dale) Miller; eight grandchildren, Megan Sepeda, Alyssa (Michael) Dobbs, Hannah (Arthur) Hodges, Bret Cihalski, Ryan Cihalski, Brittany Miller, Jonathan Miller and Eric Tyler Cihalski; three great-grandchildren, McGregor Edward Dobbs, Ace Gene Hodges and Addison Jase Mercer; her brother, Raymond (Pat) Connors, CPD; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Patricia Cihalski will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road, Joliet. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 18, 2023, at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to the Church of St. Jude, Joliet, for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Memorials to the family would be appreciated. For more information, please call (815) 741-5500 or visit her Memorial Tribute at www.fredcdames.com.
