Thomas M. Gnadt, Sr., 80 of Addison. Beloved husband of Patricia nee Wanzung. Loving father of Thomas (Mary) Gnadt, Jr., Scott (Kelly) Gnadt, Cherylyn Gnadt and Carrie (Luis) Hernandez. Cherished grandfather of Ellen, Thomas III, Caroline, Michael, Kevin, Mateo, Bella, Lauren and the late Ryan. Dearest brother of Kathleen (Vito) Battaglia, Eileen (Bob) Goduto, Terry (Fran) and Tim (Vicki) Gnadt. Fond nephew of Frank. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 3-8 PM at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53) with a service at 6:45 PM. Funeral Service Thursday, December 7, 2023, 9 AM from Humes Funeral Home to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 524 N. Rush Street in Itasca for Mass at 10 AM. Interment Glen Oak Cemetery, Hillside. Tom was a retired Lt. with the Addison District Fire Department as a firefighter and paramedic for over 30 years. If desired, donations to the American Heart Association greatly appreciated.

OFFICER WELLNESS!

Spiritual Wellness is a vital part of Officer Wellness. The Chicago Chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers (FCPO) holds its regular monthly meetings on the 2nd Saturday of each month at the Chicago Police Academy located at 1300 W. Jackson Blvd. This month’s fellowship will be held on 09 Dec 2023 from 0800-1000 hrs. All active duty and retired members are welcome to attend. The FCPO is a nationwide ministry for law enforcement officers, by law enforcement officers. Federal, state, and local law enforcement officers both active duty and retired.
