He was the son of the late Casimir and Virginia (nee Goga); brother of the late Clifford (retired C.P.D. and US Air Force veteran), Dennis, Chris (Kate), Maryeve (Dr. Terrence) Lerner, and Russell (Donna); uncle and cousin to many. Mitchell was a lover of animals, wildlife, and all things outdoors.
