Samuel Babich, Age 95. Beloved husband of Therese "Terri" (nee Iozzo); loving father of Lisa, Scott (Stacy), and the late Barry Babich; cherished grandfather of Christine, Xander, and Riley; beloved son of the late Sam and the late Sima Babich; dear brother of William (Judy), the late John, the late Goldie Principato, the late Eleanor Martinov, and the late Mary Ann Mladina; brother-in-law of Dolores Camardo; proud uncle of many nieces and nephews. His wonderful sense of humor was so enjoyed by his family and friends. Sam will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Sam served in the US Army, Korean War, retired CPD Sergeant for 34 years, a film coordinator for the City of Chicago 1980-1983. Brandon #2684, assigned to the 003rd District Tactical Team, who was shot and killed in the line of duty on 25 January 1984 in the 005th District. WE WILL NEVER FORGET!
