Kenneth M. “Cubs” Duleba, Ret. CFD; Beloved fiancé of the late Julie Brongel; Loving father of Jerry (Virginia) Dunne, Perry (the late Mary) Dunne, Kelley (Michael) Kampe, Jacqueline Duleba (the late Tony) LaBarbera, and Holly Gomez (Rudy) Villalaz; Cherished grandpa and great grandpa of many; Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ken was a proud retired member of the Chicago Fire Department, and a proud member of Chicago Fire Fighters Union, Local 2 (B.O.B.) and Dood-Lee-Doo’s, S.A.C. He also served in the U.S. Marines. Ken enjoyed his retirement and was very active with his many friends and social activities. Visitation Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Chapel Service Friday,11:00 a.m. at Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th Street, Chicago Ridge. Interment Private. Thomas M. Flynn was born on April 7, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois. He passed unexpectedly at home on February 8, 2024, at the age of 60. Tom lived his entire life in Chicago, following in his father’s footsteps into the Chicago Police Department. Tom spent 31 years as a police officer and retired in April 2018. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time in his yard with his dog, watching sports with his family, and polishing his prized automobiles. Tom is preceded in death by his mother, Joan (Kirby) Flynn. He is survived by his father, Thomas S. Flynn; wife of thirty-one years, Linda Horras; 3 children, Elizabeth, Thomas, and Timothy; siblings, Daniel (Renee) Flynn, Peggy (John) Roeske, Maureen (Steve) Campbell, and Tim, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois, on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 12 – 2 PM with a service to follow at 2 PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation at www.cpdmemorial.org or via mail at 1407 W. Washington, Chicago, Il. 60607.

Lawrence J “Larry” Foley was born on December 13th, 1950, to John Patrick Jr and Dorothy Wilkinson Foley. At age 73, retired CPD Sergeant, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024. Larry was the loving father of Joseph B and Nicole L Foley; proud and loving grandpa to Tommy, dearest brother of Donald (Mary) Foley, Judith (Robert) Puccini and the late John III (Janet) Foley, and he was a fond uncle of many. Sgt Larry Foley joined the police force in 1975 and was promoted to sergeant in 1998. After spending a proud 38 years of service with the Chicago Police Department he retired in 2013 and shared his time and smiles between Chicago and Florida. Memorial visitation Monday, February 19, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (St Jude Service 6:30 p.m.) All services will conclude at the funeral home on Monday, and interment will be private. David Edward Polk passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024; beloved husband of 31 years to Carlotta nee Garcia, David played semi pro ice hockey for 20 years, he was an avid bowler, Illinois State trooper for five years and retired from the Museum of Science and Industry, where he worked for over 43 years. Later he played light percussion with several bands in the area, Night Shift, Nite Life, he played with Eddie Koroza , and most recently Flip Side. Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Friday, 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday 11:00 a.m. at the Palos- Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Highway, Palos Hills, IL.
