Michael Donald Byrne, an Air Force Veteran, of Chicago’s Clearing Community, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning. He was the loving and devoted Husband for 61 years to Beatrice J., nee O’Leary. Cherished Father of Kathleen (Randy USCG) Jeffery, Colleen (John) McGuire, Daniel CFD (Sharyn)Byrne and the late Michael P. Byrne. Much loved grandfather of Sean (Colleen) McGuffin, Kaylee McGuffin, John P., Daniel, Ryan McGuire, Makayla and Teagan Byrne. Dear Brother of the late Patricia (late Don) Bethke. Fond Uncle of many nephews. Visitation is Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 2 PM to 6 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 8:30 AM until time of Prayers at 9:30 AM. We will go in procession from the funeral home to Two Holy Martyrs Parish, St. Symphorosa Church for a 10 AM Mass. Michael will be awarded Military Honors after Mass. Raymond D. Madigan, of Chicago, Illinois, retired Chicago Police Sergeant, age 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Karen Madigan (ret. CPD) and loving bulldog Gino; siblings Dave (Jean), William (Diane), and Mike. Preceded in death by his parents: Edward (ret. CPD Lieutenant) and Louella Madigan; brother Dennis Madigan and sister Patricia Madigan, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Ray served on the Chicago Police Department for 38 years. Ray enjoyed spending summers at his home in Sister Lakes, Michigan and was also a volunteer for Chicago English Bulldog Rescue. Friends and Family will gather for a Visitation that will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Andrew McGann Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL. Prayers will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Andrew McGann Funeral Home. Interment following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. John G. McKeone Ret. CPD 001 passed away on Mar 30, 2024, after battling stomach cancer. In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated. His Family is planning a Memorial Service in Sept around his birthday. As soon as the Memorial Service is finalized, we will get the information out. Jack will be missed by all of his brothers & sisters in blue both in the States and across the pond in Ireland. He was a true gentleman and a great cop. RIP "My friend"
