Rosemary Lois Mazzola, née O’Shea, of Indian Head Park, Illinois, was born into eternal life on Thursday May 23, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago, Rosemary was an avid White Sox fan. Daughter of the late William and Mary O’Shea. Rosemary is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, retired CPD Sergeant, Raymond. She was the loving mother of Maureen, proud grandmother of Taylor, loving sister of William (Susan) O’Shea, sister-in-law of Loretta (Frank) Kunovic, Maria Mazzola, Anthony (Evelyn) Mazzola and John (Jill) Mazzola. Rosemary began her career as a physical instructor with the Chicago Park District and later opened her own dance studio, where she taught children of all ages dance and gymnastics. Rosemary then worked for Avis Rent A Car in Chicago, rising up through the company for 20 years before retiring and dedicating herself to volunteering at the local library and school, and doting on her granddaughter. Rosemary especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends in Florida, Wisconsin and Colorado. Rosemary was dearly loved by her family and will remain in our hearts forever. A visitation will be held on Friday May 31, 2024, from 3pm to 8pm at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St, Willowbrook, IL 60527. Friends will gather on Saturday June 1, 2024 for a 10am funeral mass at St Cletus Parish, 600 W 55th. St, Lagrange, IL 60525. Interment private. Vietnam Veteran Friends, (numerous via BCC)

While I especially pray on Memorial Day for all our fallen military members and their families, I pray every day for ALL those that served our country over the years.

For reasons that many of you are aware of, I place special emphasis on our Vietnam era veterans, living and deceased.

In anticipation of Memorial Day 2024, I respectfully submit this short email and accompanying video in recognition of your service to say Thank You from our entire family as we firmly believe that... "A Hero Lies In You."

God Bless You, One and All.

Welcome Home, Brother!
