Blue Cross/Blue Shield will be offering Medicare and Non Medicare Insurance Plans for retirees for 2017',

You will be receiving enrollment information from them shortly.
The FOP has been working with Source 1, to provide our membership with an Aetna Medicare Supplement. Aetna will be offering retirees a Medicare Supplement very comparable to our current BC/BC Supplement.

The Medicare Supplement that BC/BC will be offering will cost approximately $339.00 per month and WILL NOT PROVIDE THE SAME COVERAGE AS THE ONE WE CURRENTLY HAVE...

Aetna will be offering a Medicare Supplement VERY COMPARABLE TO OUR CURRENT BC/BC Supplement Plan for $292.00 and is trying to reduce that AMOUNT.

The FOP has been working closely with Source 1, for the past several years and advocates the Aetna Plan.

Kindly wait until you receive the Aetna enrollment information and review all the plans before you make your decision.
