My dear friends, fellow police officers, and fire fighters both active and retired.
I've been sending out the daily obituaries and information since 2006. Over the years I've added approximately 1,000 names to my listing. Most have been of my fellow retiree's from the First District from where I retired. Some...very few...are still active. Some have been added recently, and to those I'm very sorry. Over the last 12 years, I've estimated sending over 13,000 death notifications and information daily.
It is my intention to get a few more hours of sleep daily, and put more effort in helping my wife who has declined in health since her knee operation in November 2017. There will be more in home therapy, in the hope of increasing her mobility.
I have had help recently from several friends who have scoured the daily on line obituaries and sending me the information. Also there are some who have passed along the information of events such as retirement parties, and up coming fund raisers. It still takes much time to prepare and send to all my contacts. I will try and send the information only as it becomes available.
I'm sorry to say that I no longer will be passing along the obituaries at this time, and with any success, will again start sending them if conditions improve at some future date.
It has been my pleasure to provide the obituaries and information over the years.
You may gather the same information from the on-line obituaries at:

Also the other various CPD sites, can give good information if you are aware.
Take care, be safe, the best of health, and God bless you and your loved ones!
Yours in support,
Phil Haskett
