On this day, 79 years ago, more than 150,000 Allied troops landed at Normandy, France to free the world of the Nazi's. More than 10,000 troops were killed, wounded, or missing in action. Current estimates say that more than 4,400 troops were KILLED IN ACTION on D Day, 6 Jun 1944. Keep those and all who participated in the D Day Invasion in your thoughts and prayers!
