Judy Heidewald, May 20, 1942 - Jul 29, 2023, age 81, passed away on July 29, 2023. Beloved wife of James Heidewald. Loving mother of Debbie, Edward, ret. CPD (Karen), and David Heidewald, Cook Co. Sheriff. Devoted Grandmother of Justin (Erin) Grandowski. Preceded in death by her 2 brothers and 1 sister. Judy was united in marriage to her husband James on September 30, 1961, in Loyal, WI at St. Anthony Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling for many years and was a part of a bowling league. Judy also enjoyed going out for dinner, visiting the casino and traveling with her husband Jim throughout the United States. She also worked at Sears, Roebuck and Company for a long time. Visitation, Wednesday 3 – 8 pm at Wollschlager Funeral Home, 3604 S. Hoyne Ave. Chicago IL. Funeral Mass, Thursday 12 noon at Blessed Sacrament Parish 3745 S. Paulina. Additional Visitation will be held at Roubal Funeral Home on Friday August 4, 2023, from 3pm until her prayer service at 6pm. Burial will be on Saturday in Forest Home Cemetery, Athelstane. Loving father of Jennifer (Joel) Kiedaisch and Peter. Beloved son of the late Francis and the late Eleanor. Cherished grandfather of Jackson, Charles and Brady.
