Kyle is the son of the late Rich Chernikovich (retired CPD).

Kyle Chernikovich, 35, beloved husband to Brittany and amazing cat dad to Loki. Loving son to Barbara and Richard. Brother to Jeremy and Marina. Brother-in-law to Melissa and Nate. Son-in-law to Wilma. Nephew and Cousin to many. While he didn’t have the loudest laugh in the room, you could always count on him being there in the room with you. And you could especially count on him to be there with a shot of Malort. Kyle had the warmest eyes, smile and hugs. I didn't get enough years but I got all the best years. He showed me what true love means and I know that he will be forever my person. An accomplished bowler, avid traveler, and amazing best friend and partner to many, he had so many things to be proud of and made all of those who loved him beyond proud of him. He also spent years working in his trade as a bartender and accomplished his one true goal of being a bar owner. While that may have been short lived, he made it. His personality, energy, and uncomfortable dance moves behind the bar will forever be missed. A celebration of life will be held at Irving Park Pizza and Patio on Sunday, October 5th 1pm - 3 pm Celebration of life Sunday, October 5th, 2025 will take place from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Irving Park Pizza and Patio, 2922 W Irving Park Rd.
