SHARON FOLEY-LIPMAN, mother of Police Officer Brian Lipman assigned to the Detail Section. •

Sharon Foley-Lipman, January 24, 1959 – October 7, 2025. After a 10-year fight with frontotemporal dementia, we mourn the loss of Sharon Foley Lipman, beloved wife of Bruce Lipman; Devoted mother of Jillian (Mike) Segura, Brian Lipman, Hannah Lipman, and Kevin (Marie) Lipman; Caring stepmother of Chris (Diana) Lipman; Proud grandma to Matthew, Abby, Sean, Carter and Keegan. Loving sister to John (Carol) Foley, Jackie Foley, Tim (Mary Jo) Foley, Dennis (Sue) Foley, and Donna (Mark) Bean. Beloved daughter of the late John Foley, the late Josephine “JoJo” (John) Novak, and niece to John (the late Penny) Roche. Sharon is survived by a village of loving in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Best buddies and dog mom to Buckley. A visitation will be held on Monday October 13th, 2025 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Blake Lamb Funeral Home 4727 W 103rd St., Oak Lawn, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00am at St. John Fisher Church 10235 S. Fairfield Ave., Chicago, IL. on Tuesday October 14th, 2025. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, consider donations to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration. https://www.theaftd.org/. A mass of Christian burial for Sharon will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint John Fisher Roman Catholic Church, 10235 S Fairfield Ave, Chicago, IL 60655. Following the mass of christian burial will be a committal from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum, 6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803.
