Jam B. Blackman, age 88, US Army Veteran, at rest October 10, 2025. Beloved husband of 63 years to Cecelia Blackman, nee Axelson; Loving father of Scott (partner Catherine Green), James, Tracy (Bruce) Stedry and Noel (Lisa) Blackman; Cherished grandfather of Kyle (Gina) and Kayla Blackman, Nicole (Steve) Truckenbrod, Marissa Cannella and Tara (Matthew) Duda, Jordan and Paige Blackman; Proud great grandfather of Jase, Kinley, Grayson, Killian, Melody, Maggie and soon to be Baby Boy Duda; Dear brother of Michael Jensen; James was a proud 911 dispatch team leader for 28 years with the Village of Oak Lawn. He was an avid golfer, loyal sports fan of the Bears and Cubs, and was competitive in every sport or game he played.
