Karen Jo Milligan, nee McCullough, 82, of South Elgin, Illinois, passed away on October 15th, 2025. Karen is the beloved mother of Gregory Milligan, Diana Breen (Bryan), and Christine Krueger (Timothy). Cherished “Nana” to Carol (Justin), Sean, Josh, and Alyssa. Karen’s career spanned over thirty years in telecommunications with the Illinois State Police. She made many cherished friendships over the years. It was said that “if Karen was on the radio, we were going to get home safe.“ Outside of work, Ka n also enjoyed crossword puzzles, trivia, and spending time with her family. In honoring her wishes, there will be no wake or funeral. She wished to be remembered in a positive light and, in her own words, “without fuss.” Karen J.
