Hi Po-lice!
Can you please distribute the below attachment to any/all of your sources to encourage a great turnout of our fellow retirees on behalf of all our brothers and sisters, 'on da' job' who made the ultimate sacrifice.
We hope for a great turnout of our fellow retirees to, "Honor Our Fallen."
Please pass the word!

Fraternally,
Al (Piantkowski) CPD ret.

Brothers and Sisters,

The 81st Annual Chicago Police Department St. Jude Memorial March will take place Sunday, 5 May 2013.
In addition to the various districts and units within the department, a special contingent of Chicago Police Retirees will be represented here as well. All retirees are encouraged to attend and march in this time honored tradition to, "Honor Our Fallen."
Retirees will assemble on Museum Campus Drive and Solidarity Drive in preparation for the March. Extended family members and friends are welcome to view the March from the west side of Museum Drive, across from the Park. Since retirees are scheduled to march at the beginning of the parade in the first seven positions between the Gold Star Family Members and Chicago Police Board delegations, it is advised to arrive by 0700 hrs. The March will proceed south on Museum Campus Drive to Waldron Drive and step off promptly at 0800 hours.
Immediately at the conclusion of the March, there will be a brief 15 minute interfaith service presented by the Chicago Police Department Chaplain’s Unit. Department members and guests are invited to attend this service.
Complimentary parking for police personnel and families attending the St. Jude Memorial March will be available in the Waldron Deck
Parking Garage, the South lot of Soldier Field, or the North Garage of Soldier Field. All traffic will exit at 18th St. or McFetridge Drive for parking.
A traffic detail will be assigned to direct you to the parking.
We ask all our fellow retirees to again attend one of the oldest and proudest traditions of our department to continue to send the message to our Gold Star Family members of our commitment to them to, 'Never Forget' and to honor the memories of their loved ones.
