We are excited to invite all active and retired Chicago Police Officers and their spouses to participate in this program intended to strengthen relationships, improve communication and achieve better work-life balance.

This retreat will provide a safe and supportive environment for couples to connect, share experiences and learn valuable relationship-building skills tailored to the unique challenges of law enforcement life. MEETING REMINDER!

The Professional Counseling Division/ EAP would like to remind all Department Members about the Family Member Suicide Support Group, which will meet on Tuesday, June 17th, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. (1800 hrs.) The meeting will take place at the EAP South Office, located at 11540 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL 60643, Phone: (312) 742-0222. This support group is open to the family members of department personnel who are seeking support and resources. If you are interested in joining or would like more information, please call (312) 743 0378 and ask for Assistant Director Kathleen O’Neill to complete the screening process for participation. SPECIAL NOTICE!

The Sig Sauer P320 is being phased out and will no longer be an approved firearm. All members who have the Sig Sauer P320 as their prescribed duty weapon must transition to a new approved firearm. Members who have a department approved Alternate Prescribed firearm other than a Sig Sauer P320, may opt to reclassify that firearm as their Prescribed duty weapon, consistent with U04-02-01 “Department Approved Handguns and Ammunition,” in lieu of purchasing a new firearm. The Training & Support Group, Firearms Training Section will be hosting “Gun Days” on the following dates: Monday, 09 June 2025 0700-1500 PSTC (701 N. Kilbourn) Tuesday, 10 June 2025 0700-1500 PSTC (701 N. Kilbourn). Vendors will be displaying and accepting orders for Department approved weapons and ancillary equipment, including optics, lights, holsters, belts, etc. All Department members are welcome to visit and place orders.
