Members are reminded that the 2026 Annual Open Enrollment period, begins on October 15, 2025, and ends on October 29, 2025. Members are reminded to: (1) review and make changes to your benefits and (2) during the Annual Open Enrollment, members are encouraged to: change, enroll, re-enroll, or cancel medical, dental, and vision coverage for yourself and your dependents; enroll or re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) programs for Healthcare and Dependent Care; and make changes to other benefits, such as life insurance, if eligible. Please note that all changes made during this period will take effect on January 1, 2026. The Chicago Benefits Office will host six (6) Benefits Fairs during the Open Enrollment period. Members are highly encouraged to attend these fairs, as they are excellent opportunities to meet the Chicago Benefits Office staff and representatives from various vendors, learn about the benefits offered in 2026, and ask any questions regarding your options. Additionally, the 2026 Healthcare and Other Benefits Open Enrollment Guide will be available online at www.cityofchicago.org/ benefits.
